Team-based strategic planning uses the tools of SWOT Analysis for planning purposes. We teach the various analysis tools needed to effectively support Strategic Planning, and engaging the organization through the use of Hoshin planning. The process uses actual data of the organization and members of the organization to arrive at a plan for change. Progress is achieved through lectures, discussions, analysis, off-site exercises, and review sessions. Team tools utilized in the course include Trend Analysis, Affinity Diagram, Inter-relationship Digraph, and Radar Chart.
